Goldplus plans to expand in South India through retail outlets

Goldplus plans to actively expand business in the four southern states and Maharashtra by setting up retail outlets, a top company official said today.

ERODE (TN): Goldplus, part of the Tata Group, plans to actively expand business in the four southern states and Maharashtra by setting up retail outlets, a top company official said today.

"We are actively involved in expanding business in the four Southern States and Maharashtra. Initially we are trying to start Goldplus retail outlets in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka" said C K Venkataraman, CEO,TITAN Jewellery division said after inaugurating a showroom at nearby Karungalapalayam.

He said the company has 31 retail outlets in the South. Venkataraman said though there was a bit of slackness in gold trade globally for the past six or seven months but was "business as usual" for Goldplus due to their quality, exquisite designs and good service.

"Goldplus is synonymous with pure gold jewellery and strives to offer the purest of 22 carat gold in its jewels to customers," he said.
