Future Retail acquires HyperCity from Shoppers Stop for Rs 655 crore
Kishore Biyani, founder and CEO of Future Group, will acquire Shoppers Stop's loss-making retail chain HyperCity for Rs 655 crore through a combination of cash and shares to further consolidate his footprint in western India. The deal is likely to be completed in the next three to five months.
