Chennai to house ‘luxury’ mall

CHENNAI: The Rs 150-crore textile exporter RK Industries is foraying into the realty business through its subsidiary KKA Buildtech.

It has launched a ���luxury��� mall in Chennai, spread over 40,000 sq ft in one of the upmarket retail zone of the city, Khader Nawaz Khan Road. Bergamo will house only premium international luxury brands, its MD Ajay Agarwal said on Thursday.

To be ready by mid-2010, the project has been conceived and marketed by Mumbai-based retail consultants Squarefeet Management.
