WeWork sets up 15,000-sq-ft coworking hub at Express Tower in Mumbai’s Nariman Point

Flexible workspace provider WeWork India has set up a new co-working center at Express Tower in Mumbai’s business district Nariman Point. The center spread over 15,000 sq ft will have a total 250 desks.

“The future of the flexible workplace industry in India is promising, with demand at an all-time high after the unprecedented past year... It's more crucial than ever to provide a safe and flexible work environment to our members,” said Karan Virwani, CEO, WeWork India.

Leasing of flexible workspace by corporates rose 73% during January-June period on a year-on-year basis, indicating the continued demand for co-working spaces in the current scenario, showed a recent report.
