US' Ciena rents 135,000 sq ft in Gurugram

"A lot of space that was part of the SEZ is getting denotified now, opening up newer areas for corporations," one of them said. "Tata also has a large portfolio under SEZ and is getting it denotified."
The sources did not share the rental and other details of the lease deal.
The NYSE-listed Ciena and TRIL did not respond to ET's emailed queries until press time Thursday.
The National Capital Region (NCR) witnessed a gross leasing volume of 3.01 million sq ft in the April-June quarter, similar to the volume recorded in the previous quarter but a 16% dip from the year-ago period, according to Cushman & Wakefield.
