Unitech allots 74.92 cr bonus shares
Real estate developer Unitech Ltd on Monday said it has allotted 74.92 crore bonus shares to the shareholders.

MUMBA: Real estate developer Unitech Ltd on Monday said it has allotted 74.92 crore bonus shares to the shareholders.
The board of directors at its meeting held recently decided to allot 74.92 crore equity shares of Rs 2 each as bonus shares to shareholders or beneficial owners, Unitech informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The company had earlier announced a 1:12 bonus issue on May 12.
The board has also decided to conduct a postal ballot to get shareholders approval, for a corporate guarantee scheme of Rs 450 crore to Unitech Hi-Tech Developers Ltd, the company's subsidiary and another Rs 60 crore under a loan to its partner, Pioneer Urban Land and Infrastructure Ltd.
The shares of the company were trading at Rs 238.25, up 4.98 per cent on the BSE.
