Sobha to construct Dell's mfg plant at Sriperumbudur
Realty firm Sobha Developers has bagged a project worth Rs 23 crore from global personal computer manufacturer Dell for setting up its manufacturing plant in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai.

CHENNAI: Realty firm Sobha Developers has bagged a project worth Rs 23 crore from global personal computer manufacturer Dell for setting up its manufacturing plant in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai.
The company has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Dell India, regarding the construction of manufacturing plant, which is scheduled to be completed by June 2007, Sobha Developers informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
As per the LOI, the realty developer would undertake civil, electrical, mechanical and structural works, it added.
The value of the total work is about Rs 23.21 crore with Rs 22.71 crore toward civil works and Rs 50 lakh toward project management fees for the entire project.
