Pratibha Industries bags Rs 1249 crore order from Delhi Jal Board
Pratibha Industries Limited, along with its JV partner Mosinzhstroi Open Joint Stock Company today announced bagging of two orders worth Rs. 1,249 crores for Delhi Jal Board.
The Consortium has been awarded two of the six packages worth Rs. 692.79 crores (Package 2) and Rs. 556.66 crores (Package 3) respectively. This is the largest combined order received by Pratibha Industries so far.
The project involves design , construction and lying of Interceptor sewers along three major drains – Najafgarh, supplementary and Shahadra in Delhi and is scheduled to be completed within 36 months.
“This is the largest order won by the company and the construction of the interceptor Sewers which will help in the reduction of pollution in Yamuna River,” said Ajit B. Kulkarni, Managing Director of Pratibha Industries
According to the company Yamuna River, which passes through Delhi, has been immensely polluted in the past few decades due to untreated sewage discharged into the river. “The project will help to divert the untreated waste by channeling the same through the interceptor chambers and transporting it to the sewerage treatment plant,” said Kulkarni.
