Prajay Engineers Q3 net jumps three folds

NEW DELHI: Hyderabad-based construction and hospitality firm Prajay Engineers has reported over three-fold increase in net profit for the quarter ended December 2006, at Rs 15.22 crore compared to Rs 5.01 crore in the same period a year ago.

Total income during the quarter also increased more than two folds at Rs 43.18 crore as against Rs 19.19 crore in the corresponding period a year ago, a company release said.

For the nine months ended December 31, net profit stood at Rs 41.18 crore as against Rs 13.05 crore in the same period a year ago, it said.

During the nine month period, total income stood at Rs 112.59 crore as against Rs 44.04 crore, it added.
