Phoenix Mills appoints Vithal Suryavanshi as CEO for commercial real estate

Mumbai-based retail-led mixed use realty developer The Phoenix Mills has appointed Vithal Suryavanshi as its Chief Executive Officer for commercial real estate business.

Suryavanshi has over 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate sector. He has previously held leadership positions at Mayfair Housing, K. Raheja Corp, Brookfield Properties, and most recently served as Partner-Commercial Real Estate Fund at Kotak Alternate Assets Managers.

At Phoenix Mills, Suryavanshi will be responsible for overseeing the company’s commercial office portfolio, which forms part of its broader mixed-use real estate platform. The company’s office assets are located across key urban markets alongside its established retail centres.


Suryavanshi holds an Executive MBA from NMIMS and has completed an Accelerated Development Program at Chicago Booth.

Phoenix Mills has been expanding its commercial real estate presence through new developments and ongoing leasing activity. The appointment comes as the company continues to add commercial office space to its existing mixed-use projects.
