NEW DELHI: Realty firm Omaxe said on Wednesday that it has started construction of a 336-acre township at Patiala in association with Patiala Development Authority (PDA), which could entail an investment of Rs 800 crore.
"Omaxe and PDA have entered into joint development agreement for development of this integrated township on public-private-partnership basis," the National Capital-based real estate firm said in a statement.
The project is being developed at a total investment of Rs 800 crore and is spread over an area on 336 acres, it added.
According to the agreement, Omaxe would undertake the project implementation involving design, marketing, sale, development, financing, construction, operation and maintenance. The township, PDA Omaxe City, would comprise an IT Park, bio-tech Park, and would have 1,000 residential plots.
