Nitco aims for Rs 700-cr turnover
Nitco Tiles is targeting a Rs 700-crore turnover with its plans to expand in domestic as well as international market and double its existing capacity.
The company had clocked a revenue of Rs 460 crore in the year-ago period and aims for Rs 700-crore revenue in 2008-09, Nitco Group Vice President (Sales) Pervez Amin said here on Saturday.
He said the company is planning a 17 per cent and 22 per cent market share in ceramic and vitrified tiles business, respectively, while in Kerala alone it is looking for a 15 per cent and 20 per cent market share in the respective segments.
Nitco Tiles, which has 17 company-owned showrooms in India, recently opened a store here -- Le Studio, spread across 2,800 sq ft having a detailed layout of products offered by the company.
The group has been focusing on lifestyle products and is planning to set up two showrooms in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It is also looking at Bahrain as a prospective market for its products, he added.
