MetroCorp in pact with Singapore firm

MetroCorp Housing Corporation in partnership with Singapore based Jurong Construction company would soon launch an integrated township at Amritsar in about 300 acres.


COIMBATORE: MetroCorp Housing Corporation in partnership with Singapore based Jurong Construction company would soon launch an integrated township at Amritsar in about 300 acres.

Deepak Krishnappa, CEO of MetroCorp, in a release said here on Thursday that the township would house an IT SEZ, Super specialty hospital, shopping mall and an international school etc.

The company is also developing SEZ at Mangalore, he said.

Jurong, wholly owned by the Singapore government, with project presence in 104 cities the world over, is at present undertaking construction over 30 million sq ft across 17 cities across the country, Rao Munukutla CEO of the company said.

The company on Thursday launched Monte Vista, a 40 acre township here.
