Malaysia's top developer, Sunway, and city-based Opus developers would jointly invest Rs 1680 crore to create an international-class residential township here.

HYDERABAD: Malaysia's top developer, Sunway, and city-based Opus developers would jointly invest Rs 1680 crore to create an international-class residential township here.

The mega project, "Sunway Opus Grand" will have a world of facilities and features which will make it one of the most exclusive projects in the twin-cities, and will usher in the concept of "Resort Living Within the City", managing director, Sunway Ngian Siew Siong and Opus director Banwari Lal Jain, told mediapersons.

The 14-tower project, housing 2,650 apartments, will be spread across a sprawling 35 acres, with 80 per cent open space, and 20 per cent build-up area. It would be completed in five years and in three phases, they said.

The project will be created on absolute Malaysian standards, right from the planning and design to the qualify of construction, they added.

The apartments (from 1500 Sq ft onwards) would cost Rs 50 lakh and above. Sunway and Opus are having 50 per cent stake in the joint venture.
