Mahindra Lifespace Developers, the real estate and infrastructure development arm of the Mahindra Group, has acquired acquisition a 9.4-acres land in Whitefield locality of Bengaluru.

The land parcel has a total development potential of around 1.2 million sq ft and a gross development value of Rs 1,700 crore, primarily comprising mid-premium residential apartments, the company said.

"Bengaluru continues to remain a focus market for us. This (deal) aligns with our strategy to deepen our presence in India's thriving urban centers, particularly within our focus markets," said Amit Kumar Sinha, Managing Director & CEO, Mahindra Lifespace Developers.


This land parcel in Whitefield has access to tech parks, commercial spaces, and social infrastructure, including educational institutes, healthcare facilities, and retail in proximity.

Mahindra Lifespaces expects to launch the first phase of the project within the next 12 months.

In a recent interaction, Sinha told ET that the company Is looking to build a pipeline of projects with a development value of more than Rs 45,000 crore as part of its strategy to achieve fivefold growth in pre-sales in the next five years.
