The project is estimated to hold potential of saleable area spread over around 1.9 million sq ft and is expected to generate a Gross Development Value (GDV) of around Rs 1,400 crore, the developer said in a release. The company has not disclosed the deal value.
According to Rajesh Patil, MD, Kolte-Patil Developers Ltd The acquisition marks the company’s entry into a new micro-market through an outright purchase, strengthening its footprint in Pune.
“With demand supported by infrastructure improvements and increasing end-user interest, our presence in Bhugaon aligns with our strategy of expanding through planned, value-focused developments,” he said.
Kolte-Patil has been active across key Pune suburbs and has recently expanded its redevelopment and mixed-use portfolio in Mumbai. The Bhugaon acquisition is expected to enhance its project pipeline in Pune, which continues to record steady residential demand backed by connectivity upgrades and growth in the IT and services sectors.
