ITD Cementation bags two contracts worth Rs 446 crore
Construction company ITD Cementation on Tuesday said it has bagged two contracts worth Rs 446 crore from Sical Iron Ore Terminals and Chennai International Terminals for construction related works.
The company has secured the two contracts worth Rs 112 crore and Rs 334 crore from Sical Iron Ore Terminals and Chennai International Terminals, a subsidiary of Port of Singapore Authority, respectively, the company engaged in construction business informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The scope of work from Sical includes construction and civil works and is expected to be completed within a time period of 22 months.
Chennai International Terminals' contract involves construction of an 805 meter long quay wall and backup yard for container handling and storage. The terminal work, with a time period of 129 months, also involves the required electrical and mechanical services.
With these orders, the company has added substantial new business in the area of marine construction, the company added.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 391, down 3.18 per cent on the BSE.
