Mumbai: US-based healthcare technology company HealthEdge has picked up office space spread over across 11 floors at Brigade Square in Thiruvananthapuram through a lease agreement with Brigade Enterprises, as global companies expand their technology and operations footprint in the city.

The leased space spanning around 1.62 lakh sq ft is part of the commercial tower, a 2 lakh sq ft IT office building in Technopark Phase 1. The transaction marks HealthEdge’s new campus in Thiruvananthapuram and covers teams across engineering, product development, technology, operations and corporate functions.

“Our objective is to create high-quality, technologically equipped workspaces that attract global businesses to the city. Having a global healthcare technology company such as HealthEdge as a key occupier is a strong validation of Thiruvananthapuram’s potential as a technology destination. It also contributes to the creation of high-quality employment opportunities and strengthens the wider business ecosystem,” said Nirupa Shankar, Joint MD, Brigade Enterprises.

HealthEdge, backed by Bain Capital, provides software and technology-enabled services to health plans. Its platform covers areas including claims administration, payment accuracy, provider network management, care management and risk adjustment.

“Health plans are under real pressure to control costs and operate more efficiently, and they need services and technology partners who deliver measurable results. Our teams in India are central to that work, with deep expertise in AI and engineering, product development, and operations. This new campus in Thiruvananthapuram reflects our long-term commitment to those teams and to the growth we’re building together at HealthEdge,” said Kevin Adams, CEO, HealthEdge.

Brigade Group has also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Kerala government to develop a 2 million sq ft World Trade Center within Technopark Phase 1. Brigade Square will form part of the larger development.
