HCC bags Rs 415 cr contract from BMC

Hindustan Construction Company says it has bagged a Rs 415-crore contract from BMC for building a tunnel.

MUMBAI: Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) on Monday said it has bagged a Rs 415-crore contract from Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for building a tunnel.

The tunnel from Maroshi to Ruparel College will be completed in 56 months from the date of commencement of work, HCC informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Earlier in July, HCC had bagged a Rs 311.96-crore contract from the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai for execution of civil works on section II from Jamboli to Chinchavali.

Shares of the company were trading at Rs 131.20, up 3.02 per cent, on the BSE.
