NEW DELHI: Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority has issued a show cause notice to Imperia structure ltd, an NCR-based real estate company for advertising it’s Gurugram project without mentioning the RERA registration details.

It has also threatened to impose Rs 12.29 crore penalty, which is 5% of the project cost.

“It has come to the notice of this authority that an advertisement for group housing project - Esfera phase -2’ was published without mentioning the RERA registration certificate number and the web address of the authority,” Haryana RERA said in the notice.


The developer has been asked to appear on September 3, and respond to the show cause notice within a week.

“As per the provision, the penalty amount can be extended upto 5% of the estimated cost of the real estate project as determined by the authority. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 245 crore,” RERA chairman said in the notice.
