Haryana government appoints new chief for Gurgaon and Panchkula RERA

The tenure of the office of the chairperson, Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Haryana, Panchkula and Gurugram shall be five years or till attaining the age of sixty-five years, whichever is earlier.

Haryana Government has appointed Arun Kumar, retired IAS officer and former chief of aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) as the chairperson of Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Gurugram.

“In the exercise of the powers conferred by Section 20 of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 and all other powers enabling on that behalf, the Governor of Haryana is pleased to appoint Arun Kumar las the chairperson of Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Gurugram, Haryana and Parneet Singh Sacvhdev, Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, as chairperson, Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Panchkula, Haryana with effect from the dates they will assume the charge of the posts,” the government has said in the order.
