Greater Noida authority has asked the real estate developers to resolve the dispute on maintenance issue with the homebuyers by March next year.

In a meeting of committee formed to resolve dispute between buyers and builders, the authority discussed the issue of completion of flats, formation of Apartments Owners Association (AOA), transfer of IFMS fund and registry of flats among others.

Representative of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI) assured the authority to come up with a solution of issues raised in the meeting.


The next meeting will take place on January 3.

According to the authority, there are over 200 housing societies in Greater Noida that are under various stages of development.

“Most of these societies face dispute between buyers and builder. To resolve these disputes, the authority had formed a nine member committee,” the authority has said.
