MUMBAI: Godrej Properties, the real estate development arm of the Godrej Group, has reported 135% on-year growth in sales at Rs 9,500 crore for the quarter ended March. The company’s sales during the financial year 2023-24 rose 84% to Rs 22,500 crore.

The performance has helped the developer record its best-ever quarterly and annual sales, the company said in a regulatory filing.

“We are pleased that this sales growth was on the back of both an improving project mix as well as strong volume growth of 31%. We continue to have a strong launch pipeline for the current year, which will also be bolstered by our recent entry into the important Hyderabad market,” said Gaurav Pandey, MD & CEO, Godrej Properties.

Sales were driven by performance of some key new project launches. The project Godrej Zenith in NCR reported a booking value of over Rs 3,000 crore and Godrej Reserve in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) reported a booking value of Rs 2,690 crore.

The company has achieved 161% of its booking value guidance for the year with volume growth of 31% to 20 million sq ft and an improved project mix. Sales volume during the quarter grew by 56% to 8.17 million sq ft.
