Former AG Mukul Rohatgi's wife buys bungalow in Delhi for ₹115 cr

New Delhi: Vasudha Rohatgi, wife of Mukul Rohatgi, former attorney general, has bought a 1,250 square yard bungalow at Delhi's upscale Golf Links locality for ₹115 crore, showed documents accessed by ET.

This is her second purchase in about as many years. In February 2023, she had purchased a 2,100 square yard bungalow in the same locality for ₹160 crore.

The buyer paid ₹5.7 crore in stamp duty for the property, which was registered on August 23, the documents showed.


Last year, Mukul Rohatgi and his wife sold a bungalow in Delhi's Sunder Nagar area for ₹100 crore. Mukul Rohatgi did not respond to a text message seeking comment on the latest deal.

Posh localities in Delhi have been the most sought after by corporate leaders. Golf Links has emerged as a particular favourite for the wealthy with prices staying firm over the years amid limited availability.

Earlier, former solicitor general Gopal Subramanium bought an 866 square yard bungalow in Sunder Nagar area for ₹85 crore. Recently, Rategain founder Bhanu Chopra bought an 850 square meter bungalow at Golf Links for ₹127.5 crore.

Earlier, Maxop Engineering director Shailesh Arora purchased a 575 square yard bungalow in Golf Links for ₹68.5 crore. Pawan Agarwal, deputy MD of DB Group (Dainik Bhaskar), also bought a 575 square yard bungalow for ₹75 crore. Sunil Vachani, chairman of Dixon Tech, and Vishwavir Ahuja, former chairman and MD of RBL Bank, are among those who have bought bungalows in Golf Links after the pandemic.
