Bengaluru: Kolkata-headquartered Emami Realty, a key segment of the diversified Emami Group, plans to invest Rs 10,000 crore over the next seven years to expand its real estate portfolio.

The company aims to construct approximately 22 million square feet of residential and commercial space across major urban centers in India.

“This expansion initiative is projected to unlock a revenue potential of Rs 15,000 crore, reflecting a significant growth opportunity in the real estate sector. The planned development includes 19 million sq.ft residential and 3 3 million sq.ft commercial,” said Nitesh Kumar MD & CEO Emami Realty.


The planned outlay aims to expand the brand across Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata, along with other major cities such as Bhubaneswar and Jhansi.

The upcoming development will encompass a mix of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. EmamiRealty’s strategic expansion will cover major cities and emerging urban centers like Kolkata, Chennai, Bhubaneswar, Jhansi etc ensuring a balanced and widespread presence across the country. This approach will enable the company to tap into diverse markets and cater to a broad spectrum of customers.

The company has around 9 million square feet under development across these cities, with a diverse portfolio that includes residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. So far, it has developed over 17 million square feet of projects.
