Early road commissioning boost to Sadbhav Engg Revenues

Abhinav Bhandari of Elara Capital says that the early completion of these projects will believes push up IRRs of these projects by 100-150 bps.

MUMBAI: Ahmedabad based Sadbhav Engineering is all set to commission 3 of its toll road projects 9 - 12 months in advance, said a senior company official on condition of anonymity.

The 97 km Bijapur Hungund toll road will be commissioned by Dec 2011 against the original completion date of March 2013. The 89 km Dhule-Palasner road will be up and running 12 months prior to the completion of the construction period and the Hyderabad Yadgiri road will be operational 9 moths in advance. The company has also indicated that they will hike toll rates for the Ahmedabad ringroad by 7-8% by Sept 2011.

Abhinav Bhandari of Elara Capital says that the early completion of these projects will believes push up IRRs of these projects by 100-150 bps.

Another analyst who did not wish to be named said that with the early commissioning of these projects the company will clock in toll revenues of Rs 450 cr by the end of next financial year.

The stock was trading up by 4% in afternoon trades on Thursday.
