Chandigarh-based Motia group acquires 2.25 acre at Aerocity to develop hotel

Motia Group will develop a premium hotel and commercial space at this prime destination in the Tricity.

Chandigarh-based Motia group has acquired 2.25 acre land parcel at Aerocity, near Airport Road, Chandigarh from the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA).

Motia Group will develop a premium hotel and commercial space at this prime destination in the Tricity.

GMADA will get Rs 54 crore from the allotment.


“Understanding the rising aspirations of our customers and the vast potential in the hospitality sector, our plan under this project is to develop 25 percent of the land parcel as commercial space and the remaining 75 percent as a hotel property. The premium property will be built in line with global standards and will provide modern amenities to create a differentiated experience for our customers at a prized location", said Mukul Bansal, Director, Motia Group.

The group is already in talks with major hospitality brands to fast-pace the conceptualization, design and implementation of this project.
