Bhumika Group leases over 1 lk sq ft at upcoming Udaipur mall in 3 months

Rajasthan-based Bhumika Group has leased over 1 lakh sq ft of retail space at Urban Square mall, Udaipur after the second wave of Covid-19, Uddhav Poddar, MD of Bhumika Group told ET.

With this, the company has leased 2.5 lakh sq ft of 3.5 lakh sq ft leasable area. The tenants have started the fit-outs of the mall, which will be the largest of Udaipur & will become operational from February 2022.

“We will start the construction of the second phase once phase 1 becomes operational,” Poddar said. Phase 2 will comprise a hotel in addition to the retail area.


Urban Square is one of the only few projects in Udaipur, where construction is going as per schedule. Bhumika Group is developing two malls – Urban Square at Udaipur & Urban Square Galleria at Alwar. It has plans to expand in cities like Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Bikaner, Ajmer & Delhi NCR.
