Axis RERA fund invests Rs 65 crore in Adarsh Developers’ residential project

MUMBAI: Axis Asset Management Company’s real estate fund, Axia RERA Opportunities Fund – I, has entered into a deal to invest Rs 65 crore with Bangalore-based realty developer Adarsh Developers. This is the second investment of Axis AMC’s maiden real estate alternative investment fund.

The investment is for a proposed affordable residential project being developed off Sarjapur Road, in Halnayakahalli, South East Bangalore. The project’s construction will be completed in 2 phases with over 600 units priced between Rs 30 lakhs to Rs 47 lakhs.

In its maiden investment, Axis RERA Fund had recently invested Rs 60 crore in a Chennai project of Akshaya Developers.


“The government initiatives in the last few months reaffirm our funds strategy to focus on the mid and affordable segment housing in the current market scenario,” said Balaji Rao, Managing Partner – Real Estate, Axis AMC.
