Realty developer Arkade Developers has signed a binding agreement to acquire Filmistan Pvt Ltd that owns Filmistan Studio in Mumbai's Gorgeous suburbs for around Rs 183 crore.
In January, the company had already announced signing an agreement to acquire this studio and has now completed the formal acquisition.
The deal provides Arkade ownership of the iconic 4-acre Filmistan Studios plot on SV Road in Goregaon West.
The company is planning to develop a luxury residential project on this plot and expects the project to have Gross Development Value (GDV) of Rs 3,000 crore.
