Arch Infra buys Trinity Forge unit

PUNE: The Ahmednagar unit of Trinity Forge, which was with the BIFR for a year, has been bought with liabilities, plant and machinery and brand name, for Rs 18 crore by Arch Infra Projects Nirman — a Rs 16 crore infrastructure building company.

Trinity Forge’s executive director C Murali said they make small forgings primarily for automotive sector.

BIFR has given the new promoters another five years to repay the carry-forward losses of Rs 8 crore.

The new promoters have put Rs 8.5 crore in the Rs 18-crore project, the balance Rs 10 crore will be provided via bank loan.
