Ahluwalia Contracts bags Commonwealth project worth Rs 688 cr
Ahluwalia Contracts Ltd has received a contract worth Rs 688 crore for the Commonwealth games 2010 residential village project, to be completed by Dec 2009.

MUMBAI: Ahluwalia Contracts Ltd has received a contract worth Rs 688 crore for the Commonwealth games 2010 residential village project, to be completed by Dec 2009.
It bagged the contract from Emaar MGF Construction Pvt Ltd, which has got development rights from Delhi Development Authority.
The total covered area under the project would be 21.66 lakh square feet.
The current order book of Ahluwalia Contracts including the above project stands at Rs 2748 crore.
Ahluwalia Contracts share today closed at Rs 558.10 on the BSE, up 3.26% from Wednesday.
