In a regulatory filing on Wednesday, Lemon Tree Hotels stated that Vikramjit Singh has resigned as the president of the company to pursue an entrepreneurial role.

The company said Singh resigned on Wednesday and that his last date of working with the company shall be January 31, 2024.

Singh had worked with the chain for 18 years and in his resignation letter, Singh stated that there were no other 'material reasons' for his resignation.


Lemon Tree Hotels stated that Singh had been an 'integral' part of Lemon Tree Hotels for 18 years.

"He has contributed immensely to the growth of Lemon Tree Hotels and led several key initiatives in various positions he held in the company. His absence will be felt by one and all in the Lemon Tree family," the company said in a statement.

Patanjali Govind Keswani, chairman and MD of the Lemon Tree Hotels stated the company continues to have a stable senior talent pipeline to take up Singh's responsibilities.
