Unity Infra builds five-star hotel for Commonwealth games
Unity Infraprojects said that it has constructed a five-star hotel at Pune in less than a year for 3rd Commonwealth Youth Games.

NEW DELHI: Engineering and construction firm Unity Infraprojects on Monday said that it has constructed a five-star hotel at Pune in less than a year for 3rd Commonwealth Youth Games.
"In normal course, it would have taken six to eight months even to finalise the design and complete formalities before construction of a five-star hotel actually commences," Unity Infraprojects Chairman-cum-Managing Director K K Avarsekar said.
The project faced hurdles like shortage of workers and improper supply of raw material, among other things, but it was completed despite all odds, he added.
Earlier, the company had constructed the venue for the India International Film Festival at Panjim, Goa. The company has also constructed a railway tunnel in Tripura for NE Railway.
