The Oberoi Group opens The Oberoi Beach Resort, Al Zorah

MUMBAI: The Oberoi Group today announced the opening of The Oberoi Beach Resort, Al Zorah, a joint venture with the Ajman government in the UAE.

"I am confident that The Oberoi Beach Resort, Al Zorah with its location and aesthetic design will offer distinctive Oberoi service to travellers from around the world," The Oberoi Group Executive Chairman P R S Oberoi said in a release.

Nestled within 247 acres The Oberoi Beach Resort, Al Zorah offers private meeting rooms and a 4,600 square feet banqueting space, which can host up to 200 guests for weddings and social events.

The Oberoi Group, which was founded in 1934, presently operates 32 hotels, two Nile cruisers and a motor vessel in the backwaters of Kerala.

The Group is also engaged in flight catering, managing airport restaurants, travel and tour services, car rentals and corporate air charters.
