Taj Group wins accolades at Conde Nast Travel Awards 2013

MUMBAI: The Taj Group of Hotels today said it has bagged accolades from Conde Nast Traveller India Readers' Travel Awards.

Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Maldives, won the award for Favourite Hotel Spa - Overseas, while the Taj InnerCircle, the Group's frequent guest programme, was also conferred with the Favourite Hotel Loyalty Programme award, the company said in a release issued here.

The iconic Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, which has played host to some of the world's most distinguished dignitaries, was the runner-up for Favourite Hotel Visited on Business - India, while Vivanta by Taj, Madikeri, Coorg, was acknowledged for its naturally enthralling beauty as the runner-up for Favourite New Leisure Hotel- India.

Readers of Conde Nast Traveller India voted for their preferred destinations, airlines, hotels, spas, airports and more, across 25 categories, based on their personal experiences.

The winners were determined by a UK-based tabulation agency after being scored on several parameters unique to each category.
