Sterling Resorts expands presence in Kerala

Currently Sterling, a 100 % independently managed subsidiary of Thomas Cook (India) Ltd. (TCIL) has 36 resorts in India.

KOCHI: Sterling Holiday Resorts Ltd. is expanding its presence in Kerala with a new property in Guruvayur. The launch comes after Sterling’s big announcement on increasing its footprint through six resorts pan-India.

The property marks the first one by a national chain of hotels in the temple city of Guruvayur. Apart from Guruvayur, Sterling will have a second property in Thekkady in Kerala, which will take the number of properties of the company in the state to six.

“In line with our aim of establishing ourselves across pure holiday, heritage, pilgrim, & drive-to destinations throughout the country, we are launching Sterling Guruvayur, as a pilgrim destination, ‘’said Ramesh Ramanathan chairman and managing director of Sterling Holidays.
