Radisson Hotels to launch property in Goa next week

NEW DELHI: Radisson Hotels will launch a property in Goa next week as the American hotel chain continues to pursue its ambitious target of having 125 operating hotels plus another 75 in the pipeline in India by 2020, despite a slump in the hospitality industry.

“Emerging markets like India and Indonesia will remain a major focus for the company as the economy is growing that and a majority of our development pipeline is in this region,” Raj Rana, chief executive officer for South Asia at Radisson Hotels & Resorts, told ET.
