Radisson Blu Guwahati looks to expand current capacity soon

Guwahati: Radisson Blu in Guwahati would be looking at expanding the current capacity soon. Nest Asia, the premier Asian culinary destination in Radisson Blu Guwahati announced reopening of the restaurant on July 1, 2023.

Vishal Jamuar, General Manager Guwahati said that Radisson Blu Guwahati has been a pioneer in the Hospitality sector in North East and Assam in particular. “We see immense potential in the way forward and would be looking at expanding our current capacity soon”.

Radisson Blu Guwahati has 196 rooms in different categories and suites. He added, “The Hospitality Industry is very positive in terms of growth and opportunity. We are always on a lookout for improving our footprint across the Country and North East in particular has a huge potential. We look forward to increasing our capacity in this.”

Assam government last year approved the proposal for grant of Industrial status to the tourism sector in Assam.

With the grant of industry status to the tourism sector, restaurants, cafeterias, health clubs, spas and wellness centres among others are eligible for incentives under the industrial policy. State government had stated this move will further encourage and boost private investment in the above areas of the tourism sector.
