Polo Towers group to invest Rs 100 cr in foods and hotels

Polo Towers group, which owns hotels in Shillong, Cherrapunji and Tura in Meghalaya, would invest Rs 100 crore by 2016 by setting up eateries and hotels.

KOLKATA: Polo Towers group, which owns hotels in Shillong, Cherrapunji and Tura in Meghalaya, would invest Rs 100 crore by 2016 by setting up eateries and hotels.

"We are investing Rs 100 crore for setting up eateries and hotels by 2016," CEO of the group Deval Tibrewalla told reporters here today.

The group, he said, would launch the 'Quiznos' quick service restaurants in the eastern part of the country after getting franchisee from the US company.

The group would also launch two other US brands, Great American Cookies and Forever Yoghurt across the country, he said.

The group was also setting up a budget hotel in Allahabad, he added.
