Parsvnath to develop a 5-star hotel in Ahmedabad

NEW DELHI: Realty firm Parsvnath Developers Ltd said on Wednesday it would build a five-star hotel comprising 152 rooms in Ahmedabad.
Parsvnath Hotels, a subsidiary of Parsvnath Developers, has undertaken construction of hotel at Vejalpur, Ahmedabad, the company said in a statement.
The project has received five-star category approval from the Ministry of Tourism and is expected to be operational by 2010-end, it added. The hotel project would also have a shopping mall and multiplex.
Currently, Parsvnath's ongoing project in Ahmedabad includes two retail projects - Parsvnath City Centre and Parsvnath Mall.
Parsvnath Hotels is presently developing 17 hotels across the country comprising about 2,400 rooms. It is coming up with nine 5-star, two 4-star, five 3-star and a service apartment. The construction of six hotels are in progress and is expected to be completed by 2010.
