Pankaj Mathur appointed as general manager of Pride Plaza Hotel Aerocity

NEW DELHI: The Pride Group of Hotels has announced the appointment of Pankaj Mathur as the general manager for its first 5 star luxury property - Pride Plaza Hotel Aerocity, New Delhi.

Mathur has over three decades of experience in the hospitality industry and brings with him a wealth of operational & management expertise. He has successfully rebranded and repositioned two independent hotels like The Suryaa New Delhi at New Friends Colony and The Corinthian Resort & Club, Pune.

He has worked for the finest international chains including Starwood, Hyatt & Marriott and was instrumental in opening Four Points by Sheraton Hotel and serviced apartments, Pune which is Starwood’s flagship Four points in South Asia.

Having worked for the finest chains, Mathur spearheads the hotel’s efforts in making the Pride Plaza Hotel, Aerocity, New Delhi a new landmark in the Indian Luxury Hospitality space. His in depth understanding of planning, supervising and managing operations including new set ups and properties will drive the wave of transformation and will strive to position Pride Plaza as a leading brand in the premium segment.
