Mani Group to invest Rs 110 crore in Nagaur organic resort
Kolkata based Mani Group signed an MoU with the tourism department of the Government of Rajasthan to set up an organic resort at Nagaur.
The star rated organic resort would come up near Ajmer in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. Mani Group would be investing close to Rs110n crores in putting together this resort.
The proposed project would be spread over 300 bighas and consist of over 70 villas, a coffee shop, and an all sat dining restaurant, another one with a lounge bar and also come complete with a spa and gymnasium facilities along with other recreational activities.
There are also plans for a skill development centre within the resort campus that shall train the in house employees alongside training people in the nearby villages to increase employment.
Out of the proposed 300 bighas of the resort, most of the land parcel would be utilised in growing organic produce worth zero utilisation of chemical fertilisers. These produce would be used at the resort itself making the property as self-sustainable as it can get.
“Alongside organic farming, watershed development would rake place to increase soil fertility and also increase the water table of the area that would in turn benefit local farmers and villagers,” said Sanjay Jhunjhunwala, CEO, Mani Group.
