Lemon Tree Hotels plans to invest over Rs 2,100 crore to set up 18 hotels in the country in the next two years.

New Delhi: Lemon Tree Hotels plans to invest over Rs 2,100 crore to set up 18 hotels in the country in the next two years.

The company launched its third hotel in East Delhi, and hopes to have a presence in 17 cities. ���By 2011, we will be the second largest hotel chain in the country, with a capacity of over 2,500 rooms and presence in 18 cities,��� Lemon Tree CMD Patu Keswani said. The company currently has five operational hotels, which is likely to be hived off into a separate asset company.
