KB Dadiseth resigns as an independent director from Indian Hotels Company Limited

In a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange or BSE, IHCL stated that Dadiseth resigned from the company as an independent director with effect from April 7.

NEW DELHI: KB Dadiseth has resigned as an independent director from Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL).

In a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange or BSE, IHCL stated that Dadiseth resigned from the company as an independent director with effect from April 7.

IHCL’s audit committee led by KB Dadiseth was tasked with initiating an enquiry into a sexual harassment complaint against IHCL CEO Rakesh Sarna in July, eight months after the woman complainant's exit.

Dadiseth was also one of the independent directors alongside others like Deepak Parekh and Nadir Godrej who had expressed confidence in the leadership of ousted Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry.
