Indian Hotels to add three properties under Gateway brand in 2015

NEW DELHI: Indian Hotels operated that also manages Taj Hotels has launched a Taj Gateway property - an 80-key resort hotel in Sohna, Gurgaon. The Gateway hotels, which now manages 25 properties across India will look to add another four properties by the end of 2014, says the company's chief operating officer Prabhat S Verma.

The current property, The Gateway Resort Damdama Lake Gurgaon, which had its official launch today is owned by developer Pawan Dhoot of Dhoot Infrastructure Projects and cost the developer over Rs 100 crores to build.

"In the next six to eight months, we will launch three properties under the Gateway brand in Pune, Raipur and Corbett in Uttarakhand. They will each be 150, 121 and 50 keys respectively," adds Verma. The IHCL operated Gateway is a mid-market brand, positioned below the Vivanta and manages properties.
