Hotels make room for everybody

MUMBAI: In a show of solidarity, hotel companies like Hyatt, Mariott, ITC, Four Seasons and the Leela have approached the Oberoi-Trident and Taj to house their guests evacuated since Wednesday night.

While some of the international guests have gone back, others are being housed at the many airport hotels in the suburbs. Incidentally, this weekend, most of the hotels in the suburbs had 90% occupancy, as there were two international conventions taking place.

Hotel companies are worried about the future, but they think every corporate must take up the responsibility to change.
