Gurgaon’s Pullman Hotel becomes a Le Meridien Hotel now

“There is a belief between the owners and us that the hotel was earlier under-positioned,” said Brian Povinelli, senior vice president and global brand leader of Le Meridien and Westin Hotels & Resorts.

NEW DELHI: American hospitality major Starwood Hotels & Resorts has taken over the management of its French rival Accormanaged Pullman Hotel in Gurgaon and has converted it into a Le Meridien hotel. The 285-room hotel is owned by Gurgaonbased developer Central Park. It’s just a few kilometres away from Starwood’s 313-room The Westin Hotel.

“There is a belief between the owners and us that the hotel was earlier under-positioned,” said Brian Povinelli, senior vice president and global brand leader of Le Meridien and Westin Hotels & Resorts.

The company however did not disclose the money spent in revamping the property. “This is a three-year-old hotel, so we haven’t changed much of the existing design,” Povinelli said.
