Gujarat-based Neesa Leisure launches new line of budget hotels
Gujarat-based Neesa Leisure Ltd has launched a new line of budget class hotels under the Coral brand
"The new brand will compliment the eight properties that we currently operate in the country. We believe, the hospitality industry has to reinvent its approach, in keeping with the times, because a number of travellers now believe in budget travel," says N Rajendra Raju, Group CEO, Neesa Group of Companies which manages Rs 1,500 crore of assets.
The new property, having about 32-new rooms in Gandhinagar, is adjacent the existing property operated under the brand of Cambay Spa & Golf resorts. With this addition, Neesa now operates 420 rooms in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar alone. The rooms at the new property in Gandhinagar will be available at Rs 3,000 per day.
Dahej and Abu Road will the next stop for Coral. "We have acquired land at both these locations and we intend to complete these properties in the next 8 months," Mr Raju added. Neesa currently manages over 700 rooms at 8 fully-owned properties in Gujarat, Rajasthan and Kerala. Apart from new Coral brand, the hotelier also operates three other brands namely, Cambay Sapphire, Cambay Grand and Cambay Spa & Golf resorts.
