The company's revenue declined 31.7% to Rs 501.9 crore from Rs 735.3 crore a year ago, while EBITDA fell 27.3% to Rs 217.5 crore from Rs 299.3 crore.
The company's financial performance was affected by income from a residential project recognised in quarter two of financial year 2026.
Excluding the project, the company reported an 11% year-on-year increase in its income to Rs 511 crore.
EBITDA from its core operations (excluding residential) grew 13% to Rs 227.4 crore, with margins expanding by 110 basis points to 44.5%.
Shwetank Singh, MD and CEO, Chalet Hotels Limited said the quarter two performance reflects the strength of its hospitality portfolio and its continued focus on driving operational efficiencies.
"Despite reduced air connectivity and higher airfares impacting certain business travel markets, we delivered an 11.3% year on year growth in average daily rates and a 7.2% increase in revenue per available room," he said.
"Our leisure properties performed particularly well, delivering 34% revenue per available room growth, supported by improvements in both occupancy and room rates," he added.
Singh said overall, the business continued to demonstrate 'healthy' growth, contributing to 'improved' operating margins.
"We are also making encouraging progress across our brand portfolio, with the launch of ATHIVA Pulse in Navi Mumbai. The initial response from the guests has been positive, reinforcing our confidence in its potential," he said.
"With Taj Delhi International Airport and CIGNUS II, Powai progressing towards completion, and an expanding ATHIVA pipeline, we are well-positioned for our next phase of growth. Our strong balance sheet and disciplined approach to development give us the confidence to capitalise on the long-term opportunities in Indian hospitality," he added.
